OneHE has a vision for “A world in which higher education delivers the best possible student outcomes for the benefit of society and the economy through better teaching.”
To that end, they’ve teamed up with Equity Unbound to create a collection of activities and exercises aimed at building up online communities.
According to the website, “Any technique can block some people out, make them feel unwelcomed, or be used in a way that privileges some and makes it harder on others. All of these techniques should be used in conjunction with pedagogies of care and what we call Intentionally Equitable Hospitality.”
It’s a great resource full of ideas for educators to engage students and create welcoming spaces to gather online.
